Matija Gracin is a 30-year-old Director of Components R&D at the company Rimac Automobili. He has over seven years of professional experience in R&D of hardware and software development for EV and EHV. He developed over 10 electrical, state-of-the-art components and managed the entire life-cycle of product development for more than 50 other components. In addition, he has designed and developed the majority of the software on more than 10 electric vehicles, two of which have reached a serial production phase (including full powertrain and battery control). As one of the main contributors to the company’s development, Matija Gracin has seen Rimac Automobili grow from a 6 people team working in one garage to having over 200 employees.

Abstract :The talk introduces founder Mate Rimac and creation of the new tech company from a garage, growth and development, and plans for the future. This is followed by a technical section with the knowledge the company has been developing, with questions and challenges. Matija will talk how person, who was one of first 5 to 10 employees, has developed into a technical leader of more than 200 engineers.
